The full-service Macon Marriott City Center Hotel has made its debut in Georgia's second largest city. Owned by Noble Investment Group and designed by Atlanta-based F.A. Hunter & Associates, the 220-room property welcomes guests with the Marriott's signature M.I. Greatroom, where guests can socialize, unwind, or simply enjoy time alone in the living room atmosphere.
Guestrooms offer visitors bedding with 300-thread count sheets; large bathrooms featuring wood, marble, and chrome elements; and crisp lines with warm-toned walls. Each room also features 32-inch flat panel plasma TVs, complete with speakers and digital music and data ports. A custom designed pivoting desk and ergonomic chair are ideal for the business traveler. The hotel also includes Vintage restaurant and bar and a health club with indoor pool.
The project also included major upgrades to the Macon Centreplex, to which the hotel is connected. The upgraded 120,000 square feet of meeting and event space encompasses a 30,000-square-foot hall, 9,000-seat arena, 85,000 square feet of uninterrupted exhibition space, and a flexible 9,100-square-foot ballroom with 19 breakout rooms.
