img src="/mimegasite/photos/2007/11/TurkeydonationMd.jpg>The Massachusetts Convention Center Authority (MCCA) and convention center food provider Aramark announced that they will donate 150 Thanksgiving dinners to the Federated Dorchester Neighborhood Houses, Inc. (FDNH). In addition to a whole turkey, each meal includes enough corn, green beans, cranberries, stuffing, potatoes, pies, and two-liter beverages to feed a family of four."Coordinated donations such as this one are evidence of our commitment to helping all of our Boston neighborhoods benefit from the success of the wide array of events we host," said James E. Rooney, executive director of the MCCA, in a statement.FDNH serves more than 1,300 children, youth, and adults per year in 20 programs including childcare, school-age and youth programming, and educational programming. FDNH also coordinates two community food pantries.
