The awards, presented Oct. 13-15 at the Kentucky Tourism Industry Annual Conference, are given annually in recognition of outstanding advertising and marketing efforts among Kentucky tourism businesses and organizations.

This year, the bureau received seven first-place awards, one second-place award and three honorable mentions.

Receiving first-place awards were the bureau's Urban Bourbon Trail brochure, its 2008-2009 Multicultural Guide, its Red Carpet Arrival program, its JustAddBourbon.com Web site, its Lunch in Louisville menu, its student postcard series and its Bourbon Country Music mailer.
