Lexington French Quarter Completes Major Renovation

The Lexington Hotel O & Suites - French Quarter in New Orleans has finished a $2 million renovation project that has taken it 18 months to complete. The project included remodeling of the hotel's lobby, common areas and exterior, all of which have been redesigned to be at once contemporary and historic.

"When in New Orleans, it's hard for guests not to be entranced by the city's world renowned music, cuisines, parties and current revitalization endeavors," Steve Belmonte, president, CEO and partner of The Lexington Collection, said in a statement. "When they step foot in the Lexington Hotel O & Suites - French Quarter, they are in for an experience because they will immediately be awe-struck by the creative aura that the renovations produced."

The hallmark of the renovated hotel is its upgraded lobby, which features modern art installations that pay homage to New Orleans' heritage.

More than ever, the renovated hotel is stressing the 'O' in its name, which stands at once for Office and Organic—the latter because the hotel offers organic and hypoallergenic bedding, the former because it features a high-tech remote office environment inside its updated business center, which now includes wireless and high speed Internet access, as well as computers, copiers and a common-use printer and scanner.
