LVCVA Turns to Passkey

The Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA) announced on August 22 its decision to partner with Passkey, the leader in online group reservations, and to start offering Passkey as part of its convention services package to all event planners coming to the city.

With Passkey, the LVCVA will deliver the following benefits for planners: easy management of reservations and rooming lists; customized event websites for online hotel bookings; 24/7 access to event reports, including pick-up and pace reports; reduction in attrition exposure and book-arounds; and seamless integration with the preferred registration solution.

For attendees, the benefits are: one-stop shopping experience for event registration and hotel booking; ability to modify and cancel reservations online; and instant acknowledgements

In 2005 the Las Vegas area hosted 6.2 million convention and meeting delegates, representing 22,000 citywide conventions and meetings. These delegates generated $7.6 billion during their visit to this destination.
