The Korea MICE Bureau (KMB), under the Korea Tourism Organization (KTO), has launched its fully updated official website, koreaconvention.org, which features several new pages that cater to the increasing number of meetings, incentives, and other business events hosted in the country.

The new site prioritizes mobile-friendliness with easier browsing, simple navigation, and text resizing, while still maintaining a rich layout for those viewing on larger screens. In addition, the revamped main page makes it fast and easy to find content for events such as corporate meetings, conventions, or incentive trips.

New and expanded sections on the website include "Top 10 Reasons for Choosing Korea," a MICE cities section that highlights the strengths of each region specializing in business events, and a unique experiences database in which planners and event delegates can select from a range of Korea-themed activities to enhance their visit to the country.

"Korea has become one of the world's busiest MICE Destinations, so we believe it is essential for meeting planners to have easily accessible and accurate content on Korea," said Kim Kapsoo, executive director of KTO's Korea MICE Bureau. "Information on each of country's top destinations have been directly provided from regional CVBs making koreaconvention.org the perfect gateway to discovery of all that Korea has to offer for meeting planners."

There is also an improved accommodations database, press section, and "MICE Tourism Ventures," a directory of innovative Korean startups supported by the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism and the KMB, which event organizers can work with to create memorable programs.

In order to better facilitate the wide scope of international activities conducted in Korea, meeting and incentive planners, association executives, and other business professionals can submit their requirements through an easy-to-use request-for-proposal page.
