Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants has opened its first hotel in Atlanta, the Hotel Palomar Atlanta, which has 304 guest rooms and over 10,000 square feet of meeting space. Located in Midtown, the property welcomed its first overnight guests on May 29.

Hotel Palomar Atlanta's theme, according to Kimpton, is "Art in Motion." The hotel's décor therefore includes artwork from a variety of local artists.
Among the hotel's other amenities are an on-site restaurant, in-room LCD TVs and iPod docking stations, complimentary wireless Internet access, a 24-hour fitness center, and an in-room spa and wellness program.
