Judge to Decide Fate of Revel Sale on April 2

Revel Atlantic City

A federal bankruptcy judge who stopped the $82 million sale of Atlantic City's Revel Casino Hotel this month will reconsider her decision on April 2, local newspaper The Press of Atlantic City reported this week.

Chief U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Gloria Burns halted Revel's sale to Florida developer Glenn Straub on March 13, citing pending appeals from Revel's nightclubs, restaurants, and energy supplier, all of who object to the terms of the deal and want Revel's owners to consider other offers. Burns will hear arguments supporting the sale in spite of tenants' objections.
