Jersey Conference Hotel Becomes Wyndham, Plans Renovation

The Hamilton Park Hotel and Conference Center in Florham Park, N.J., is now the Wyndham Hamilton Park Hotel and Conference Center, Wyndham Hotels and Resorts announced yesterday.

Located approximately 30 minutes from New York, near historic Morristown, N.J., the Wyndham Hamilton Park has 219 guest rooms and over 27,000 square feet of meeting space, including 40 meeting rooms and a 4,680-square-foot ballroom.

Wyndham — which is based in nearby Parsipanny, N.J. — has not only re-branded the hotel, but also taken over its day-to-day management. Meanwhile, the property’s owner, Hospitality Properties Trust, said it plans to complete a $10 million renovation of the hotel over the next three years to enhance its public spaces, dining facilities and guest rooms.

“It’s very exciting to have a property of this caliber with such extensive amenities in our own backyard,” Jeff Wagoner, president of Wyndham Hotel Group Management, said in a statement. “This great addition provides a hotel and conference center that fulfills the needs of New Jersey and New York City-area customers, including meeting planners, businesses and guests, while also providing best-in-class service.”
