JW Marriott Phu Quoc Emerald Bay Vietnam

Marriott International has opened Vietnam's second JW Marriott hotel, JW Marriott Phu Quoc, Emerald Bay, the company announced yesterday.

Located on Phu Quoc, Vietnam's largest island off its southern coast, the new hotel offers 244 guest rooms, suites, and villas, as well as five distinct restaurants and bars, a spa with eight treatment rooms, and nearly 12,000 square feet of indoor/outdoor meeting space, including a 7,700-square-foot grand ballroom.

Along with its facilities, JW Marriott Phu Quoc, Emerald Bay is notable for its diversity of available activities, which include Vietnamese martial arts, lantern making, cooking classes, and wellness activities, including boot camp, yoga, and island excursions. For those who prefer to relax, the resort also has a private beach and three outdoor pools.

"The opening of JW Marriott Phu Quoc, Emerald Bay celebrates the arrival of the first international luxury hotel to this picturesque island paradise," said Mitzi Gaskins, global brand leader, JW Marriott & The Luxury Collection. "This stunning destination offers guests a variety of experiences, from white-sandy beaches to dense tropical jungle, and now with the addition of the JW Marriott brand, travelers will really have it all."

Vietnam's first JW Marriott hotel was the JW Marriott Hotel Hanoi, which opened in the country's capital city in 2013. The brand now has more than 80 hotels in more than 25 countries.
