JW Marriott Las Vegas Unveils New Event Venues

As hotels on the Strip continue to invest in expansions and improvements, so do hotels off the Strip -- like the JW Marriott Las Vegas Resort & Spa, which last week announced the debut of two new venues for meetings and events.

Part of a larger renovation, the new spaces are the Palms Executive Conference Center (pictured) and Cascade. Located in the resort's Palms Tower, the former offers 15,000 square feet of indoor/outdoor and pre-function space, including the Parian Room for up to 200 guests and nine breakout rooms for between 10 and 100 guests, not to mention an expansive patio area that's surrounded by lush greenery and waterfalls. Designed with sustainability in mind, it includes hydration stations to limit the use of plastic water bottles, electronic signage, linen-less tables, recycled notepads, paperless communication options, online event menus, and property-wide recycling.

Located just off the casino floor, Cascade boasts an open floor plan and more than 10,000 square feet of indoor/outdoor space.

"We're finding groups are looking for more creativity in their meetings - beautiful spaces, imaginative activities, and outdoor areas to get an inspiration breath of fresh air," said JW Marriott Las Vegas Associate Director of Catering Sales Keri Macanas. "These new spaces allow us to have a little more fun with our events, while also providing our clients all the nuts and bolts to make their events and meetings stand out."

Located 16 miles from McCarran International Airport and 15 minutes from the Strip, the JW Marriott Las Vegas Resort & Spa offers 548 guest rooms, a 50,000-square-foot casino, and over 100,000 square feet of meeting and event space.
