The International Association of Conference Centers (IACC) has established a new chapter to support its growing membership in Australia and Japan, and to take advantage of new growth opportunities elsewhere in Asia, it announced last week.
The new chapter — IACC-Australia Asia Pacific — is IACC’s third regional chapter, joining IACC-Americas and IACC-Europe. It currently has 22 members in Australia, Japan and New Zealand.
Says IACC CEO Mark Cooper, “With our emphasis on the meeting experience and the significant number of corporate and university conference centers in Australia, as well as the increasing development of the conference center concept throughout China, Korea, India and other Asian countries, this chapter has great potential to grow in the coming years.”
