Hyatt Regency Monterey, CA Unveils Renovated Guestrooms - 2007-11-02

Hyatt Regency Monterey's renovations now encompass the makeover of all guestrooms and suites. January 8, 2008 marks the point at which only renovated rooms will be available to hotel guests; and, by the end of May 2008, the renovations to all 575 guest rooms, including 32 suites, will be complete.

This renovation is part of an extensive $45 million three-phase transformation, setting the stage for the property to become Monterey's largest luxury conference resort. It began last year with the complete redesign of the lobby, lounge and restaurant.

The renovated rooms have amenities including 32-inch Plasma high-definition televisions, in-room refrigerators and safes, iHome Alarm Clocks with iPod dock, cordless phones, and T-mobile wireless Internet access. New guest bathrooms feature walk-in rain showers and each guestroom will also be outfitted with multi-functional work areas.
