The Hyatt Regency Greenville in Greenville, S.C., has completed a multi-million dollar, property-wide renovation, it announced yesterday.
Commenced in December 2011, the renovation includes a reinvented atrium lobby; a new “soil-to-city” signature restaurant; updates to all 328 guest rooms; and the addition of new meeting space, which now totals 37,500 square feet, including the city’s largest hotel ballroom, two new boardroom and “Think Tank” meeting rooms, and the new “Studio 220” gallery, which the hotel describes as a “unique and contemporary styled meeting space” for up to 300 attendees.
“The direction we took for the Hyatt Regency Greenville renovation … was motivated by our desire to provide a unique setting that showcases our signature modern hospitality while incorporating a bit of southern charm,” said D.J. Rama, president of JHM Hotels, the property’s owner. “With the success of Greenville’s award-winning downtown, revitalized 35 years ago with the original construction of this property, we are pleased to have the opportunity to re-establish the cornerstone of Greenville’s North Main Street.”
