Hyatt Makes Green Bay Debut, Takes Over Convention Hotel

Hyatt Hotels & Resorts has purchased the Hotel Sierra Green Bay in Green Bay, Wis., and changed its name to the Hyatt on Main, Green Bay, it announced this month. The hotel is Hyatt's first Green Bay property and the city's only convention center hotel, adjoined to the KI Convention Center in downtown Green Bay.

"The synergy of our exceptional staff coupled with the distinctive Hyatt brand experience is a combination that can't be beat," said Maria Skubal, the hotel's general manager. "We are more committed than ever to providing our guests with a memorable, distinctive experience."

Added Green Bay Mayor Jim Schmitt, "We are delighted to welcome Hyatt to downtown Green Bay. The Hyatt name and brand elevates our status as a first class city for business travelers and tourists."

The Hyatt on Main, Green Bay offers 241 guest rooms and 17 meeting spaces, as well as a 24-hour business center, airport shuttle service, an onsite restaurant and a fitness center featuring a sauna, steam room, indoor pool and whirlpool.
