Restorations are underway and encompass both public and private spaces across all three buildings within the resort: The 39 guestrooms of Building Three have already been completed; the pool deck with poolside bar will re-open by late summer 2006; the Phase Two renovations of Building One's 34 rooms have commenced and are set for completion by late-September 2006; and Phase Three renovations on Building Two, the lobby and the intimate spa begin September 25, 2006. Final completion of the entire project is targeted for early spring 2007.
Hyatt's expanded lobby will receive a top-to-bottom re-design and each of Hyatt Key West's 118 guestrooms are receiving new "modern tropical" interiors. Renovations are also being made on the guest bathrooms, pool and pool bar, and the Spa.
