Tysons Corner and McLean, VA, are home to a growing number of Fortune 500 companies, including Freddie Mac, Capital One Financial, and Booz Allen Hamilton, just to name a few. Now, they're also home to a DoubleTree hotel thanks to a multimillion-dollar renovation and brand conversion of the former Crowne Plaza Tysons Corner-McLean, Hilton Worldwide -- also headquartered in Tysons Corner -- announced today.

"Tysons Corner, home to a number of Fortune 500 companies --- including Hilton -- continues to grow as a business hub and as a destination for dining, shopping, and entertainment," said Dianna Vaughan, global head and senior vice president, DoubleTree by Hilton. "We look forward to welcoming this new DoubleTree by Hilton to our neighborhood."

Located directly adjacent to the Tysons Central Silver Line Metro station, near Tysons Galleria and Tysons Corner Center, the DoubleTree by Hilton McLean Tysons offers 168 updated guest rooms; a full-service restaurant and bar; an indoor, heated, junior Olympic-sized swimming pool with an outdoor sundeck; and a 24-hour gym.

Soon, the hotel also will have 5,700 square feet of meeting space -- including its second-floor dining room, which serves breakfast daily but also can be used for private events for groups of up to 100 people.

"With our premier location, we strive to be the choice hotel for hard-working business travelers on the move and visitors to the region. I have no doubt this transformation will be well-received by our loyal guests as well as new visitors and meeting attendees for many years to come," said General Manager Trish Drews. "We are excited to join the DoubleTree by Hilton brand, which is promised to add even greater value, warmth, and energy to our beautiful hotel."
