The 140-room Hotel Fifty in Portland, Ore., has completed a $7 million, top-to-bottom renovation that's given the property over 10,000 square feet of brand new meeting space overlooking the Willamette River, it announced last week.
Located on the second floor of the hotel, the 851-square-foot Columbia Room, which can accommodate as many as 80 attendees, has been adorned with new tables, chairs, carpet and wall treatments, as well as high-speed wireless Internet access and new state-of-the-art audio/visual equipment.
The 188-square-foot Chef's Table private meeting and dining room, meanwhile, is located in the hotel's on-site restaurant, H50 bistro & bar. Featuring wireless Internet access, it can accommodate as many as 12 guests. The restaurant's main dining room, meanwhile, can accommodate as many as 74 guests—plus an additional 25 in the bar/lounge area—for receptions or lunch meetings.
