Hong Kong Forms MICE Partnership With Oxfam Trailwalker

Meetings & Exhibitions Hong Kong (MEHK), a division of the Hong Kong Tourism Board, had partnered with Oxfam Trailwalker  to host its international charity fundraising event this November 16-18 in Hong Kong. Oxfam Trailwalker’s annual charity event invites 20 overseas corporate clients, meetings and incentive groups to participate in team challenges and events as part of, or as an extension, to their respective corporate events and/or meetings/incentives.

The main teambuilding activity will include Hong Kong’s famed 60-mile endurance walk along the scenic MacLehose Trail. This year, MEHK will offer special hospitality arrangement packages to MICE teams. The packages include complimentary airport welcome service; an exclusive cultural performance at an event and venue of their choice during their program and admission to a private MEHK networking reception.

Originating in Hong Kong, Oxfam Trailwalker was founded in 1981 and has since developed into one of the world’s largest charity hiking events, taking place as Australia, Belgium, Canada, China, England, France, Germany, Ireland, Japan, Netherlands, New Zealand, and Spain. The two-day annual event welcomes approximately 10,000 walkers every year. Since its inception, Oxfam Trailwalker has raised more than $18 million to help overcome poverty and injustice around the globe.
