Holiday Inn Denver East–Stapleton Reveals $12.8 Million Renovation

The nearly two-year project refreshed all guest rooms, meeting space and more.

The Holiday Inn Denver East-Stapleton has completed a $12.8 million renovation that began in March 2017. Midway between Denver International Airport and downtown Denver, the entire hotel underwent a facelift that included all 298 guest rooms and 20,000 square feet of meeting space.

"After much anticipation we are excited to reveal our newly redesigned property and restaurant concept," said general manager Brian Lenfestey. "With a design unlike any other in the brand, this renovation elevates the guest experience while creating a familiar at-home feeling, giving us an edge in Denver's growing hotel market."

The property offers 22 meeting spaces, the largest able to host up to 400 people, all refreshed with new lighting fixtures, wall coverings and carpeting. In addition, the lobby was given new modern couches and chairs, and local photography was incorporated into the décor. The property also includes an 11-story atrium with views of the Rocky Mountains and Downtown Denver. F&B is covered in the revamped Burger & Crafts restaurant, officially reopened in November 2018 with a menu of gourmet hamburgers, small plates and made-to-order milkshakes.

"We are thrilled to be reopened for our guests with a new design and dining concept," said executive chef Keith Falco. "Our team has thoughtfully crafted a food menu using regional ingredients and a drink menu that highlights the strong history of our region's breweries and distilleries."
