The Renaissance Phoenix Downtown Hotel, a historic property in downtown Phoenix two blocks from the Phoenix Convention Center, has recently completed a $13 million renovation.
The renovation included the modernizing of the building's exterior, relocating the hotel entrance and valet, and the complete redesign of the hotel lobby.
The hotel has unveiled a new restaurant, Dust Cutter, and opened the largest Starbucks in the downtown district. Both Dust Cutter and Starbucks open up onto the historic Adams Street.
"We are all invested in enhancing downtown Phoenix as a destination, for both group guests and transient guests, keeping it vibrant and showcasing all it has to offer," said Paige Lund, the hotel's general manager.
As part of the City of Phoenix's Adams Street Project, Adams Street has been transformed into a pedestrian-friendly experience with a new streetscape, shade, lighting, and signage. The street is also now a hub for special events.
The Renaissance Phoenix Downtown Hotel has 518 guest rooms, including 73 suites; 50,000 square feet of meeting and event space; a fitness center; and a rooftop pool.
