Hilton Hotels has opened a new, dual-branded hotel in Hanover, Md., near Baltimore Washington International Airport, it announced last week. The hotel complex, which includes a 99-suite Homewood Suites and a 151-room Hilton Garden Inn, has a total of 11 stories, 250 rooms and six meeting rooms totaling 3,700 square feet.According to the property's owner, Buccini/Pollin Group, having two different brands under one roof enables both to reach new market segments while offering enhanced amenities to guests staying throughout the hotel complex."This unique arrangement features the Homewood Suites by Hilton atop the Hilton Garden Inn," Buccini/Pollin Group President Dave Pollin said in a statement. "With separate entrances on each side of the building and on different floors, we're able to preserve the distinguished design elements of each brand. The flexibility and the additional services available to the guests of each hotel create a one-of-a-kind experience."Unique to the Hilton Garden Inn are rooms with complimentary wired and wireless high-speed Internet. Rooms at both hotels, meanwhile, have HD LCD televisions and DVD players. An on-site restaurant, swimming pool and fitness center are available to guests of both brands.
