Hilton Happenings Across South America

The Hilton brand continues to grow in Argentina with plans to open a 150-room hotel in Ushuaia, the world’s southernmost city, in 2009.

In 2008, Hilton will open a 158-room resort in Puerto Iguazu, site of Argentina’s second most visited destination, Iguazu Falls. The resort will be one of the first to offer direct access to Iguazu Falls through boat tours departing from an on-site marina.

Meanwhile, in Colombia, Hilton is scheduled to complete it's second hotel in the country, a $27 million, 245-room Hilton Bogota -- slated for completion in mid-2009.

Hilton has also completed a $10 million improvement campaign, with major renovations at Hilton Buenos Aires, Hilton Cartagena, Hilton Colón Guayaquil and Hilton Colón Quito.
