A new Hilton Garden Inn hotel has opened in Indianapolis near Indianapolis International Airport, owner Schahet Hotels recently announced. Part of a string of new airport developments, the hotel has 126 rooms and 3,580 square feet of meeting space.
"Schahet Hotels Inc. is proud to be a part of the redevelopment of the Indianapolis International Airport region," Schahet Hotels CEO Jeffrey Brown said in a statement. "We are confident the area will continue to attract new businesses and other attractions. The Hilton Garden Inn Indianapolis Airport as well as the Hampton Inn & Suites Indianapolis Airport, which just opened in November 2008, are great brands uniquely suited to meet our customers' needs."
All 126 guest rooms at the Hilton Garden Inn Indianapolis Airport are outfitted with high-definition LCD televisions, MP3-compatible alarm clocks, and complimentary wired and wireless Internet access.
Meeting space, meanwhile, also includes complimentary Internet access and consists of a 2,280-square-foot ballroom, a 378-square-foot banquet room and a 322-square-foot breakout room.
"We are excited to expand our presence in the dynamic Indianapolis airport market," said Hilton Garden Inn Senior Vice President, Brand Management, Adrian Kurre. "Opening a location on the south side of the 'new' Indianapolis Airport offers both business and leisure travelers to the area a new mid-priced lodging option."
