In time for its 90th anniversary, one of Chicago's classic properties has wrapped up a major top-to-bottom renovation. The Hilton Chicago announced today that it's finalized the $7 million revamp of its third-floor meeting spaces and Salon C in the Stevens Meeting Center, completing the $150 million restoration of the property.

The 1,544-room hotel, located across from Grant Park on Michigan Avenue, has renovated its 10,080-square-foot Continental Ballroom with new lighting and contemporary design, restored the 5,000-square-foot Conrad Hilton Suite (the largest suite in the Midwest), and added a fully furnished sun deck next to the pool.

It has now completed the full transformation of its third floor, which includes seven meeting rooms with a capacity for up to 850 attendees, as well as a modernized community space in the outer corridors. The renovation includes new Grand Waldorf chandeliers, with design elements inspired by Lake Michigan, in shades of purple and blue.

The 28,000-square-foot Salon C -- one of four meeting rooms in the 119,000-square-foot Stevens Meeting Center -- has also been fully revamped. The upgrades include a floral carpet, white armchairs, suspended ceilings, and new soundproof HufCor Movable Walls. The space can be used as one large room or divided into six separate spaces.

The renovated spaces join the property's numerous other meetings offerings, including one of the largest ballrooms in the city, executive boardrooms, smaller breakout spaces, and multiple office spaces. An elevator bank of 14 separate cabs expedites the transition between meeting rooms for a seamless experience.

To celebrate the renovation as well as its 90th anniversary this year, the Hilton Chicago has announced special $90 rates on specific dates and a new small meetings package for groups of 90 or less (including a 25 percent discount on catering and reduced pricing for A/V and Wi-FI).
