Four Seasons Makes Disney Debut in Orlando

Four Seasons Resort Orlando at Walt Disney World Resort

Its first Disney resort, Four Seasons Resort Orlando at Walt Disney World Resort, has opened in the Florida woodlands, Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts announced this week. The resort has 444 guest rooms, four restaurants, a spa, a 5-acre recreation area, an 18-hole championship golf course, a 24-hour fitness center, an adults-only pool and a 37,450-square-foot conference facility.

"Honestly we've been like children looking forward to their first trip to Walt Disney World, dreaming of the possibilities and counting the days. Now at last we're open," Regional Vice President and General Manager Thomas Steinhauer said in a statement.

Event facilities include two ballrooms -- including a 14,000-square-foot grand ballroom with two outdoor terraces -- plus numerous smaller meeting rooms and outdoor lawns that can accommodate up to 1,000 guests.

"Our event facilities are truly extraordinary," said Director of Marketing Alan Reichbart. "We can host everything from an intimate board of directors meeting to a memorable conference, as well as dynamic events for sales meetings and incentive-oriented groups."
