The world's newest Four Seasons hotel, the Four Seasons Hotel Baltimore, has opened in Baltimore's Harbor East neighborhood, just a mile from the Baltimore Convention Center on the city's revitalized waterfront, Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts announced this month.
"All around us the city is coming alive with new excitement and vigour," said Julien Carralero, the hotel's general manager. "Now at last we are part of that as we open our doors and invite Baltimore inside, and send visitors who stay with us out into the city to experience the local arts and culture, get to know our neighborhoods, cheer on our sports teams and shop to their heart's content."
The new 18-story hotel features 256 guest rooms and over 20,000 square feet of meeting space, including a 5,300-square-foot grand ballroom; a second, smaller ballroom; 10 meeting rooms; and an executive boardroom.
Other amenities at the harborside hotel include five onsite restaurants, including a steakhouse from celebrity chef Michael Mina; a 10,000-square-foot spa with 11 treatment rooms; a 2,000-square-foot fitness center; and two swimming pools — including a year-round heated infinity pool that "virtually spills into the harbor," according to the hotel — not to mention an infinity hot tub and a pool-sized area immersed in three inches of water that's known as the "wet deck."
