Renovations have been completed at The Fairmont Turnberry Isle Resort and Club in Aventura, FL. The 392-room hotel just re-opened December 15th after being closed for six months for a $100 million renovation and expansion project, including the resort's two golf courses, beach club, spa and guest rooms.
For business travelers, room features include, a spacious work desk equipped with High Speed Internet Access and three dual-line telephones with voice-mail.
Complementing these main project elements are a redeveloped Ocean Club, featuring new cabanas, a new lagoon pool, a new tennis complex with lighted clay courts for evening and tournament play, and a complete renovation and refurbishment of the resort’s Golf Pro Shop.
The resort renovation also encomapssed a complete refurbishment of the 40,000 sq. ft. conference center, including new paint, carpeting, wall covering, sconces, artwork, foyer furniture and an expansion of an outdoor function area, The Magnolia Courtyard.
