Construction crews have broken ground on a new Embassy Suites hotel near Fort Bragg in Fayetteville, N.C., Hilton Worldwide announced this month.
Located within two miles of the famous U.S. military base — which is home to the U.S. Army's airborne and special operations forces — the new hotel will have 165 guest rooms and nearly 9,000 square feet of meeting space.
Known as the Embassy Suites Fayetteville/Fort Bragg, the property is the eighth Embassy Suites hotel in North Carolina. Scheduled to open in the second quarter of 2012, it will include an onsite restaurant, fitness center, business center and indoor swimming pool, and will be built according to the Embassy Suites brand's latest prototype design: Design Option III, which is intended to maximize guest amenities while minimizing construction costs and land use.
