El Monte Sagrado Living Resort and Spa Becomes a Kessler Collection Property

El Monte Sagrado Living Resort and Spa has become a Kessler Collection Property and plans are underway to expand the resort, more than doubling its current size.

Opened in 2003 by Tom Worrell, founder of Dharma Living Designs, El Monte Sagrado, www.elmontesagrado.com has become a benchmark for ecological preservation and sustainability, using Earth-friendly practices in water management and geo-thermal heating and cooling throughout the property.

Expansion plans call for more than 35,000 square feet of new guest rooms, banquet and meeting space and spa facilities. Currently the resort has 36 guest rooms and with this expansion, 48 new guest rooms will be added for a new total of 84 luxury accommodations. In addition, artwork from Kessler’s Grand Bohemian Gallery will be displayed throughout the property.

Nearly 10,000 square feet of banquet and meeting space will be added to augment the resort’s event business. This multi-function space will be fully-equipped for corporate and private events that can be tailored to a client’s needs.

The Living Spa at El Monte Sagrado will also be expanded, adding six additional treatment rooms.
