Disney's "Year of a Million Dreams" to be a Dream Come True for Meeting Professionals and Attendees

When the "Year of a Million Dreams" gets underway on October 1, 2006, it will bring new attractions and entertainment to both the Disneyland Resort in California and the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida. The celebration will bring new excitement to every Disney meeting and, it's a "dream come true" for meeting professionals who count on destination appeal to drive attendance or motivate employee performance.

Throughout the Year of a Million Dreams, the Disneyland and Walt Disney World Resorts will debut new attractions and event venues that will be available for private group events.

Disneyland Resort in California
- Stage 17 at Disney's California Adventure - The first dedicated group facility inside a Disneyland theme park, this new venue will offer 10,000 square feet of divisible space, built-in production capabilities and full banquet/catering services. (Late Summer 2006)
- Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage at Disneyland Park – Inspired by the Disney presentation of Pixar’s "Finding Nemo," this all-new adventure will take guests on a real (and unbelievable) underwater excursion. The attraction will also be available as the centerpiece for private events. (Summer 2007)

In addition to new attractions and entertainment, the Year of a Million Dreams will bring even more excitement to the attendee experience. Throughout the celebration, randomly selected attendees will see dreams big and small brought to life. Some of the dreams fulfilled will be money-can't-buy experiences, such as a Golden FASTPASS ticket with unique access entitlements to some of Disney's most popular attractions, or the chance to travel the world and serve as a parade Grand Marshal at each Disney resort destination.
