Part of a multi-year renovation, the Crowne Plaza Chicago O'Hare Hotel & Conference Center has added three new food and beverage offerings, not to mention a new business center, two new boardrooms and a new concept meeting space that is rentable by the hour, it announced last month.
"These exciting additions mark the completion of yet another phase toward our hotel's total transformation," said General Manager Patty Connolly.
The hotel's new food and beverage outlets include the Chicago Fire Oven, an upscale casual dining restaurant specializing in thin-crust pizzas; the Visibility Bar, which overlooks the hotel's indoor swimming pool; and On the Fly, a new "grab and go" concept on the hotel's lobby level.
The hotel's new business center, meanwhile, features five computer workstations, while its two new boardrooms feature seating for 16 apiece.
Finally, the property's new concept meeting space, called "Boardroom Express," features an eight-seat conference room that rents by the hour. "Available 24/7, it's ideal for those seeking a professional, private setting near O'Hare to conduct interviews, board meetings, depositions or similar events," Connolly said.
