Convene, the nation's fastest-growing developer of meeting and event venues, has acquired Philadelphia's The Hub, adding more than 71,000 square feet of full-service meeting space to its offerings. The consolidated network now offers planners meeting solutions in New York City, Philadelphia, and Washington D.C.

Convene has acquired three of The Hub's four Philadelphia locations. They are the 15,000-square-foot Hub City View at South 17th Street, which features cityscapes and the surroundings of Rittenhouse Square, Independence Hall, and the Liberty Bell; the Cira Centre at 30th Street Station, which offers 15,000 square feet of sleek LEED-certified spaces; and Commerce Square (pictured above), which offers 41,000 square feet to accommodate 540 guests and was designed by the legendary architecture firm I.M. Pei.
"In the past, meeting planners have had to coordinate an overwhelming number of variables in order to produce a successful meeting," says Convene co-founder Christopher Kelly. "We're building a trusted, single-source solution across a growing number of markets to facilitate collaborative working environments for everyone from Fortune 500 companies to early-stage startups."
Convene plans to expand in other top markets including Boston, Chicago, and Washington, D.C.
