Colorado's Tourism Industry Gets Back to Normal

The Waldo Canyon blaze near Colorado Springs, now 55 percent contained, has destroyed 17,827 acres. It is the most damaging fire in Colorado’s history.

The Colorado Tourism Office has launched a Travel Resource page on the web that lists the sites that have been affected by the wildfires that have plagued the state. As crews continue to work to control the fires, many attractions have reopened.

The Pikes Peak Cog Railway reopened on Saturday and the Cave of the Winds and Garden of the Gods opened today.
