The Coast Long Beach Hotel in Long Beach, Calif., has re-opened and re-launched as the Hotel Maya, a Doubletree Hotel, Hilton Worldwide announced last month.
"The Hotel Maya conversion to a Doubletree will mutually benefit our business and our guests, through our new affiliation to a well-respected worldwide hotel brand; support for the powerful, Hilton Worldwide sales and marketing infrastructure and being able to offer guests the benefits of the esteemed Hilton HHonors guest reward program," said General Manager Kristi Allen.
Located on the California coast, the recently upgraded hotel features a Latin theme with 194 guest rooms and over 20,000 square feet of meeting space, not to mention an onsite restaurant and fitness facility, as well as a heated outdoor pool with floating cabanas and poolside fire pits.
"The inspiring design, premier location and refreshing atmosphere developed at The Hotel Maya – a Doubletree Hotel makes this hotel an outstanding addition to our 240 locations around the world," said Rob Palleschi, global head, Doubletree Hotels. "Couples and families will appreciate the casual and playful feel of the hotel, along with the great entertainment and dining options available in the immediate area. Business travelers will favor the hotel's proximity to several corporate headquarters and commercial hubs at the World Trade Center and Port of Long Beach, along with convenient access to three major gateway airports. With a great new Doubletree and Hilton Worldwide affiliation, this hotel is poised to become one of Southern California's most sought-after hotel destinations."
