In advance of its opening in fall 2013, the Cleveland Medical Mart & Convention Center in downtown Cleveland has released a four-minute promotional video that gives meeting planners a behind-the-scenes look at the new facility.
The video — available on YouTube — includes a virtual tour of the themed spaces within the Medical Mart floors; interview segments with Jim Bennett, senior vice president of Chicago-based MMPI, the project's developer; a 3D rendering of the building; and up-to-date construction site footage.
Construction on the Cleveland Medical Mart & Convention Center began in January 2011. Upon completion, the $465 million complex will have approximately 235,000 square feet of permanent showrooms available for lease by medical manufacturers, as well as 230,000 square feet of exhibit space and over 90,000 square feet of meeting space, including a grand ballroom overlooking Lake Erie.
