Camelback Mountain Resort's new hotel, Camelback Lodge, will include a 20,000-square-foot conference center when it opens in spring 2015, the resort announced this week.
Located in in Tannersville, Pa., Camelback Mountain Resort is a ski resort in the Pocono Mountains. Under construction since September 2013, Camelback Lodge will have 453 guest rooms and an indoor water park. Its conference center will include a 7,450-square-foot grand ballroom for groups of up to 400, four breakout rooms and a pre-function area, in addition to 18,000-square-feet of existing meeting space at the resort's ski lodge.
Along with meeting facilities, groups will have access to all resort activities, including skiing, snowboarding and snowtubing in the winter, as well as a treetop ropes course, mountain Segway tours, a mountain coaster and a 1,000-foot tandem zipline.
"A meeting venue should be a source of inspiration, providing a catalyst to spark excitement, revelation, discovery and learning," Camelback Resort co-owner Arthur Berry III said in a statement. "Camelback Lodge will inspire and deliver by way of its location at the base of Camelback Mountain, and through unique team-building, adventure-based and family-fun offerings, the entire mountain becomes boundless meeting space."
