The Bloomington Convention and Visitors Bureau in Bloomington, Minn., has launched a new Web site designed with meeting planners in mind, it recently announced.
The Web site,
www.bloomingtonmn.org, offers the following features and benefits especially for meeting and event planners:
• A dedicated "Meeting Planners" section that includes information about Bloomington's meeting facilities and about the CVB's meeting services and sales team
• A list of hotels that are located near Minneapolis St. Paul International Airport
• The ability to compare hotels based on their location and price
• The ability to filter hotels from search results based on meeting attributes and amenities, including the desired amount of meeting space, the optimal number of guest rooms, etc.
• The ability to complete an RFP electronically via the Web site
• A listing of over 350 Twin Cities restaurants, nightclubs, stores and attractions
• Maps and transportation information
