The Atlanta Marriott Buckhead Hotel & Conference Center, formerly the Buckhead Hotel Atlanta, has finished a multimillion-dollar transformation encompassing its guest rooms, lobby and meeting space, it announced this week.
"With the renovation and re-flagging complete, we now look forward to bringing the esteemed and signature Marriott service to our guests," said George McGann, the property's vice president and managing director. "Our team is committed to providing the best possible experience for every visitor through our doors and delivering the ultimate in Southern hospitality."
The hotel now offers guests 349 renovated deluxe rooms and suites featuring high-thread-count sheets, 32-inch flat-screen TVs, and plug-and-play technology for use with iPods, laptops and videogames.
The property's updated lobby, meanwhile, features 24-foot ceilings, street-front glass windows and an onsite restaurant, Atlanta’s first Shula's 347 Grill, not to mention wireless Internet access.
Additional amenities include a new outdoor pool and whirlpool, fitness center and two concierge floors with private lounges. The hotel's 25,000-square-foot, IAAC-certified conference center features three ballrooms, 18 meeting rooms and two business centers, all of which are outfitted with LCD projectors, drop-down screens and individual climate control.—Nielsen Business Media
