Boston's Millennium Bostonian Hotel Wraps $25M Makeover

The 201-room Millennium Bostonian Hotel in downtown Boston has completed a $25 million renovation encompassing its guest rooms and public spaces, including its meeting space, lobby and restaurant, Millennium Hotels and Resorts recently announced.

"The renovation of the Millennium Bostonian Hotel creates a striking addition to the Millennium portfolio in North America, and we look forward to welcoming guests to one of the city's most desirable addresses," General Manager Dominique Marty said in a statement.

As part of its renovations, the Millennium Bostonian adorned its redesigned lobby with new decor, flooring, wall coverings and more, including new furniture, artwork and handmade area rugs, not to mention contemporary design elements such as floating ceilings, wood-stained millwork and a gas-burning fireplace.

The hotel's guest rooms, meanwhile, have been updated with new furnishings, wall coverings and bedding, as well as new 40-inch LCD televisions.

Finally, to complement its redesigned lobby and guest rooms, the hotel also sports a new New England-themed restaurant and bar, called North 26. Its previous restaurant, Seasons Restaurant, has been turned into a new 3,000-square-foot ballroom that can accommodate meetings of up to 200 attendees.
