The Bahamas' Atlantis, Paradise Island, is embarking on four distinctive renovation and redesign projects with the help of renowned interior architect and designer Jeffrey Beers.

Dual renovations have begun for the buffet-style Marketplace restaurant and the casual, light-bite lounge Plato's (pictured above). When completed in late December, Marketplace will re-open as Poseidon's Table and offer a buffet dining concept with an entirely refreshed design. Plato's, located in the heart of Royal Towers, will be themed with light tones for a beach-like atmosphere.

All guest suites within The Cove section of the resort will be refurbished beginning in early December and be completed by mid-May 2016. The resort will remain fully operational throughout the project, with a rolling renovation plan in order to minimize guest disruption.

For the first time in its 20-year history, Atlantis is offering groups an all-inclusive experience, for stays from August through December from 2015 through 2017.

"We want to make it even easier for groups who are looking for an all inclusive turnkey pricing solution to utilize the Atlantis property and have the wow experience it is known for," says John Washko, vice president of group marketing and sales.

The all-inclusive plan allows groups to bundle a host of on-site activities, varied dining opportunities, and daily amenities such as Wi-Fi under one pricing structure.

The Atlantis, Paradise Island All-Inclusive Plan is available for fall group bookings of ten or more rooms and three or more nights starting August 24, 2015 through 2017 (blackout dates apply). The plan includes the following:

• Accommodations in Coral Towers and the  Royal Towers, including all resort fees, surcharges, gratuities, and taxes
• Breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily, including both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, at a variety of Atlantis restaurants and bars such as Todd English's Olives, Virgil's Real BBQ, Murray's Deli, and more
• Wi-Fi in guest rooms, lobbies, and conference facilities, for up to four devices per room
• Activities at Aquaventure water park, The Dig marine exhibit, Atlantis Fitness Center, as well as use of tennis courts, the lap pool, beach chairs, and more
• Event set up including basic linens and basic stagin
• For groups, set menus for buffet and plated options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner at no additional charge
• 20 percent off dolphin interactions, 20 percent off spa treatments, 50 percent off Ocean Club Golf Course green fees

Atlantis is home to more than 200,000 square feet of indoor function space, including a conference center and more than 300,000 square feet of outdoor function space spread across 21 unique locations. The newest addition to Atlantis event space is Ocean's Edge at The Cove, a multi-use beachside venue.

Atlantis features a variety of accommodations in five distinct towers, with a total of 3,400 rooms, all built around a 141-acre waterscape. Home to the largest open-air marine habitat in the world, there are more than 50,000 marine animals in lagoons and displays, including The Dig, a maze of underwater corridors and passageways providing a journey through ancient Atlantis. At Dolphin Cay, the largest and most sophisticated marine habitat and dolphin rescue rehabilitation facility in the Caribbean, groups can swim with 37 Atlantic bottlenose dolphins, 17 of which were rescued from Hurricane Katrina.

The impressive dining options include a collection of restaurants from world-renowned chefs including Nobu Matsuhisa, Jean-Georges Vongerichten, and Todd English.

The largest conference center in the Caribbean, Atlantis features 60 meeting rooms and accommodates groups of 15 to 4,000. There is also 300,000 square feet of outdoor event space in 21 unique function spaces.
