Atlanta's GWCC Launches New Web Site

The Georgia World Congress Center (GWCC) in Atlanta has launched a new consumer-focused Web site geared toward event planners, exhibitors and attendees, it announced last month.

In fact, the new Web site,, features a dedicated page for each group, with tools designed especially for them. On the attendees page, for instance, meeting attendees can view a calendar of GWCC events in order to determine which of the facility's three buildings their event will take place in. On the planners page, meanwhile, meeting planners can download floor plans so that they can more easily plan breakout sessions, exhibits, etc.

"We kept our customers our focus while redesigning the Web site," GWCC General Manager Mark Zimmerman said in a statement. "Each of our customers—event planners, exhibitors and attendees—has their own section to the site with information specifically geared to their needs. We hope they'll enjoy the new user-friendly site and will utilize it to stay connected with the Georgia World Congress Center."
