Atlanta's Emory Conference Center Hotel Opens Private Bowling Alley

As part of an expansion and renovation that it completed this spring, the Emory Conference Center Hotel in Atlanta recently opened its own private bowling alley, it announced last week.

Called Wisteria Lanes, the bowling alley is designed to host private group events and features six bowling lanes, "cosmic" bowling, a state-of-the-art lighting and sound system, custom catering packages, a private lounge and a game room.

"Wisteria Lanes has everything for a fun and challenging group event," ECCH Director of Sales and Marketing John Hill said in a statement. "We can accommodate groups from as few as 30 people to more than 100 in a unique and casual environment. It's a great way to take a break from a meeting, host an incentive event or a team building exercise."

In addition to the bowling alley, ECCH's renovation—which was designed to achieve LEED Silver Certification from the U.S. Green Building Council—included the addition of 127 new guest rooms and 6,000 square feet of new meeting space. As a result, the hotel now offers a total of 325 guest rooms and 32,000 square feet of meeting space.
