Aspen Meadows Resort Renovation Set for March 2007 Debut - 2006-11-22

The Aspen Meadows Resort in Colorado has announced the final phase of a major expansion and redo, set for a March 2007 debut. The project consists of guest room renovation, restaurant makeovers and a new conference center.

The most recent addition on the Aspen Meadows Resort property is the $15 million Doerr-Hosier Center. The 22,000 square foot Doerr-Hosier Center is divisible into large and small meeting spaces and offers a seating capacity of up to 400. The new facility also features numerous terraces for outdoor gatherings overlooking the Rocky Mountains, a reflection pool, state-of-the-art audiovisual equipment, a room dedicated to the history of the Aspen Institute, an art gallery and a full banquet kitchen.

The resort's entrance, lobby and reception/bar area also received a makeover this year. In addition, all 98 guest suites were redone with new flooring, bedding, furniture, mattresses and LCD flat screen televisions. Each features complimentary wireless Internet access as well.
