Al Seef Hotel by Jumeirah has opened in Dubai's Al Seef, a bustling destination on the south bank of Dubai Creek. It offers180 rooms and 10 suites decorated with historic artifacts, rotary dial phones, hanging oil lanterns and framed photographs of the souk (market) and creek through the years. What's more, the Emirati-inspired design are spread across 10 clusters of Arabian Bayts (homes), in the midst of the souk, similar to old neighborhoods of the past.
"Al Seef Hotel by Jumeirah is a real passion project," said Alessandro Cabella, Jumeirah Group's area general manager. "Everyone involved in bringing this idea to fruition has been inspired by the prospect of offering our guests a unique and authentic experience inspired by the stories of Arabia."
He added that everything within the property "adds to the authenticity of the environment and experience," offering visitors multiple opportunities for great photos, quiet places for relaxation as well as spaces to feel "as if you have been swept away to a well-preserved gem of the past" while still enjoying plenty of modern-day amenities. For example, the hotel's restaurant, Saba'a, serves Emirati-inspired traditional dishes and Middle Eastern favorites.
Al Seef Hotel by Jumeirah joins two recently opened hotels in Al Seef that features a sprawling promenade along Dubai Creek: Zabeel House by Jumeirah Al Seef and Zabeel House MINI by Jumeirah.
Only 15 minutes from Dubai International Airport, and with direct links to Dubai Water Taxi and traditional abras, Al Seef Hotel by Jumeirah offers guests the opportunity to experience Dubai's past.
