After five years away from the Emerald City, the Four Seasons has returned to Seattle at a new downtown address with 147 guestrooms, 36 private residences and 10,570 square feet of meeting and event space.
"When Four Seasons left Seattle in 2003, a local group quickly formed to bring it back in an extraordinary way," John Oppenheimer, managing partner of the hotel's developer, the Seattle Hotel Group, said in a statement. "We are so honored to return this international icon and hospitality leader to our city."
The new Four Seasons Hotel and Private Residences Seattle features six separate meeting rooms, including a 4,940-square-foot grand ballroom that can accommodate up to 500 attendees beside two-story windows that offer a waterfront view of Seattle's Elliott Bay. Additionally, the hotel offers a 6,000-square-foot spa, a rooftop terrace, a 24-hour business center, an outdoor infinity-edge pool and an on-site restaurant, called ART.
"Four Seasons is delighted to return to Seattle and the Pacific Northwest with a contemporary new building on such a breathtaking and conveniently located site," General Manager Ben Trodd said. "Visitors and residents can experience the best of Seattle in an exciting new way, from dining in the chic, water-view restaurant to having a cedar-scented spa treatment."
