This is the third year this 100-year-old resort, which is traditionally closed to the general public from December 1 to April 1, will open only for groups during winter months.

The resort has more than 13,000 square feet of meeting and event space, including the 2,625-square-foot column-free Main Dining Room, ideal for a private dinner or banquet for up to 300. The hotel features 13 meeting and conference rooms of various sizes And the picturesque, white-columned veranda runs 180 feet along the full length of the hotel, offering an unsurpassed view far up Lake Otsego.

Additionally, the hotel's meetings' director will customize arrangements for any group, drawing on the many attractions of Cooperstown, including the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum and the Fenimore Art Museum, which both offer a variety of function spaces.
