LaPlaya Beach & Golf Resort in Naples, Fla., has announced a special incentive for meeting planners in the form of a Mac computer.
When they book a meeting before Dec. 31, 2008, meeting planners will receive either an Apple iPhone or an Apple MacBook computer; planners who book at least 100 room nights will receive the iPhone while those who book at least 200 room nights will receive the MacBook.
The promotion is valid only during the following dates:
• October 2008: All month, at $159 per room, per night.
• November 2008: Nov. 2-6, 12-15 and 19-26, at $199 per room, per night.
• December 2008: Dec. 10-22, at $159 per room, per night.
• January 2009: Jan. 1-8, 18-25, at $239 per room, per night.
