Marriott Rewards members can earn a bonus of 25,000 points when they pay for meetings or events using an American Express card. The promotion is available for meetings held between June 1 and Sept. 30 at participating properties. This is in addition to the Marriott Rewards points members regularly earn for their meetings or events.
Qualified meetings and events must include 10 rooms booked for at least one night and/or catering-only events such as receptions, coffee breaks, banquets, weddings or teleconferencing. In order to receive bonus points, events require a signed contract and membership in Marriott Rewards. In addition, qualifying events must include a minimum payment of $5,000 on any American Express Card, excluding taxes and gratuities.
