MEETING PACKAGE: Hilton Irvine Introduces Planner Incentive in Orange County, Calif.

In order to help meeting planners cope with shrinking meetings budgets, the Hilton Irvine/Orange County Airport Hotel in Irvine, Calif., has announced a "choose your own" meeting incentive in the form of gift cards, meeting space or master bill credit.

Called "The Big Deal," the meeting incentive is available for new meetings and events that are booked prior to March 31, 2009, and consumed by Dec. 31, 2009. It includes:

• For events valued at more than $5,000: A $500 Best Buy gift card

• For events valued at more than $25,000: A $1,000 Best Buy gift card, a complimentary meeting room rental or a 5 percent credit on the master bill
